Xylene chemicals are used as solvents for dissolving synthetic resins, fats, and waxes. Density at 200C: 0.865 - 0.875 kg / L Flash point (abel): 240C Auto-ignition temperature: 5000C Limitation of evaporation: Below: 1.0% vol Above 6.0% vol Slightly frozen at 00C and 1 atm: 3.7 Limit value threshold: TLV-TWA 100ppm (434 mg / m3) (ACGIH 1989-90) TLV-STEL 150ppm (657 mg / m3).
